SL-Serisi’nin etkileyici güç değerlerine sahip
yeni motorları.
SL macerası SL 350’deki V6 motor ile başlar. Sabit hafif yapı, dengeleme mili ve dört eksantrik miline sahip modern 4 supap teknolojisi sayesinde güç aktarımı ve çalışma sükuneti yeni ölçütler oluşturur. Güç 200 kW (272 PS)’dir, 350 Nm’lik azami tork 2400 d/d ile 5000 d/d arasındadır. 6,6 saniyede 0 - 100 km/h’ye ulaşılır.
SL 500 yeni V8 tahriki ile bir sonraki güç kademesine ulaşır. 285 kW (388 PS) güç ile sadece 5,4 saniyede 0 -100 km/h’ye ulaşır ve 530 Nm’lik azami torku 2800 d/d ile 4800 d/d arasındadır. Silindir kapakları tamamen yeniden tasarlandı: İki emme subabı ile iki egzoz subabı kademesiz bir eksantrik mili ayarı üzerinden kumanda edilir ve böylelikle ideal yanma sağlanır. Bu sadece gücü arttırmakla kalmaz ayrıca yakıt tüketimini ve zararlı madde emisyonunu da azaltır.
V12 ezelden beri tüm sürüş durumlarında egemenlik anlamına gelmektedir. Bu gelenekte SL 600 nefes kesici güç değerleri ile etkilemektedir: 830 Nm’lik azami tork ve 380 kW (517 PS) güç SL 600’ü 4,5 saniyede 0–100 km/h’ye hızlandırır. V12 motor iki egzoz turboşarjdan ve turboşarj hava soğutucusundan (intercooler) oluşan bir kombinasyon sunmaktadır. The new SL-Class engines with prodigious performance.
The SL experience opens with the V6 engine that is under the bonnet of the SL350. A light-weight design throughout, a balancer shaft and state-of-the-art four-valve technology including four camshafts set new standards for power and smoothness. Maximum power is 200 kW (272 hp) and the 350 Nm peak torque is available between 2400 and 5000 rpm. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h lasts just 6.6 seconds.
The next rung on the power ladder is the SL 500 with its new V8 engine. It’s 285 kW (388 hp) catapult it to 100 km/h in a mere 5.4 seconds and the maximum torque of 530 Nm is available between 2800 and 4800 rpm. The cylinder heads have been redesigned from scratch: Timing of the two intake and two exhaust valves is taken care of by continuously variable camshaft adjustment to optimize combustion of the fuel. Not only does this boost the engine’s power output, it reduces its consumption and pollutant emissions too.
V12 has always been a byword for supreme poise and assurance in all driving situations. True to this tradition the SL 600 impresses with its breathtaking performance: A maximum torque of 830 Nm and a rated power of 380 kW (517 hp) accelerate the SL 600 from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The V12 engine offers a combination of two exhaust turbochargers and an intercooler. Thus a very fast response behaviour, a very high torque at low rpm and a low fuel consumption is obtained.
