PRO-SAFE™ emniyet felsefesi, emniyeti aktif ve pasif emniyetin bağımsız sistemlerine ayırmaz, aksine Mercedes-Benz’in geleceğe yönelik ve bütünsel emniyet düşüncesini gösterir. Yardımcı sistemler sürüş durumunu sürekli denetler, bilinen tipik tehlikeler meydana geldiğinde sürücüyü uyarırlar ve mümkün olabildiği kadarmüdahale ederler. GL-Serisi’nde ESP` veya ESP` römork stabilitesi konforlu ve her şeyden önemlisi emniyetli sürüş sağlar. Toplu bakış sağlayan kullanım ve gösterge konsepti gibi diğer sistemler sürücünün dikkatinin trafikten alıkoyulmasını azaltarak sürücünün yükünü hafifletir. GL’nin iç mekanında sürücü ve ön yolcu hava yastıkları yaralanmalara karşı korur. Yan hava yastıkları ve cam hava yastıkları bu koruma potansiyelini tamamlar. İstek üzerine otomatik bir çocuk koltuğu tanıma sistemi temin edilebilir. Bir kaza tehlikesi söz konusu olduğunda opsiyonel PRE-SAFE` fonksiyonları müdahale eder. Bu esnada sürgülü tavan ve yan camlar otomatik olarak kapanır ve koltuk kemerleri eski konumuna gelecek şekilde gerdirilirler. Tekrar birçarpma söz konusu olduğunda motor ve yakıt pompası devreden çıkarılabilir. Ayrıca dışarıdanve içeriden açılabilmesi için kapıların kilitleri açılır.

The PRO-SAFE™ safety philosophy doesn’t divide safety as active and passive safety which are independent of each but rather demonstrate the future-oriented and integrated safety thinking of Mercedes-Benz. Auxiliary systems continuously monitor the driving situation and warn the driver and intervene when a known, typical danger arises. ESP or ESP trailer stabilization function ensure a comfortable and above all safe ride. Other systems, like the COMAND control and display concept, reduce the stress of the driver by reducing the distraction of the driver through providing an overview. The driver and front passenger airbags provide protection against injuries in the interior. This protection potential is supplemented by sidebags and curtain airbags. An automatic child seat recognition system for the front passenger seat is available as an option. If there is a danger of an accident the optionally available PRE-SAFE functions intervene, whereby the sliding roof and the side windows are closed/automatically and the seatbelts are tightened. If there is danger of a renewed crash the engine is stopped and the fuel supply cut. In addition to this the doors are unlocked so that the doors can be opened from outside. |
