ISO 14001 is an international standard that ensures that establishments create and maintain their environment management systems.

The applications of the ISO 14001 Environment Management Standard have been put into use in MBT İstanbul on June 1998. ISO 14001 Environment Management System Standard compliance certificate has been obtained after the certification audit made in May 3-4, 2000, and the re-certification audit made on 2003 has also been completed with success. The certificate has been renewed on December 2005 according to the new version of ISO 14001. 

Certification audit has been carried out by the independent audit company RWTÜV.
